As a small sole trader, Check-in Riviera is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) under Article 37 of the GDPR. The data controller assumes these responsibilities directly.

Via the contact form

When you use the contact or appointment request form, the following data may be collected:

  • Email address (if provided)
  • Property type (apartment, size, location)
  • Preferred availability slots
  • Free message describing your project

Via browsing (technical data)

During your visit, technical data may be automatically recorded by the hosting servers (O2switch) for security and statistical purposes:

  • IP address (anonymised)
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and duration of visit
  • Date and time of connection
  • Operating system

Data not collected

Check-in Riviera does not collect sensitive data (racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, health data, biometric data). No automated commercial profiling is carried out.

Your personal data is intended exclusively for Check-in Riviera. It is neither sold, rented nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

The only technical subcontractors who may access your data in connection with website hosting are:

  • O2switch (host) — servers located in France, ISO 27001 certified
  • Contact form provider — data processed in accordance with their terms of service

No data is transferred outside the European Union.

Check-in Riviera does not currently use any analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. No consent banner is therefore required at this stage. This policy will be updated if an audience measurement tool is introduced.
